Georgia’s Nick Chubb Reportedly Out for Game Against Tennessee

According to a report from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, star Georgia running back Nick Chubb will not play against Tennessee on Saturday. He sustained a high ankle sprain in the Bulldogs’ last game against Ole Miss.

Chubb suffered a season ending knee injury early during Georgia’s loss to Tennessee in 2015. He appeared to have made a full return this year running for 222 yards in UGA’s season opener against North Carolina. He’s accumulated 422 yards and three touchdowns total on the year.

Sony Michel is expected to be the starter at running back in Chubb’s place. Michel has run for 106 yards on 23 attempts in four games.
